Are AuD Programs Available for Master's Level Audiologists?

I am an audiologist with a Master’s degree looking to update my skills and earn my AuD.  Are bridge programs still available for students like me?

Yes, Salus University’s Osborne College of Audiology offers an AuD bridge program for US and international audiologists who have a Master’s degree in audiology and a minimum of three years of clinical experience.  This web-based AuD-Bridge program is uniquely designed to meet the educational needs of today’s master’s level audiologists.

The curriculum is focused on enhancing the breadth of knowledge in both the current trends and recent advances in the field of audiology, hearing science and diagnostic and rehabilitative technologies, so that practicing audiologists can upgrade their skills.

The program consists of 28 didactic courses and two hands-on workshops totaling 45 academic (semester) credits. The entire program can be completed in 2-years and also has an option of completing in 4-years.

Here is what some of your peers have to say about their experience in the program:

  • Vida Percy, from Brisbane Australia: “As an audiologist in private practice with small children, I lead a fairly busy life. The online bridge degree program allows me to manage daily responsibilities while achieving my Doctor of Audiology degree."
  • Tawfik Shabaka, from Newfoundland, Canada states that the flexibility and interactive nature of the program was key in his selection: “Audiologic medicine as a whole is extremely unique and progressive; I chose the Salus AUD-bridge degree program because it reflects that same forward-thinking approach to medicine."
