Question

I’m in private practice and interested in continually advancing my skills and differentiating myself from my competition.   What does Salus offer in this regard?

Answer

The Salus University Osborne College of Audiology Advanced Studies Certificate Programs are for US and International working audiologists who are interested in specializing in a specific area of study including cochlear implants, vestibular science and disorders, and tinnitus and hyperacusis.

The Advanced Studies certificate programs are designed to expand your knowledge, improve your clinical skills, and promote general expertise in the delivery of audiology services. The programs consist of 6 to 8 online courses taught by leading experts in the specialty area.  The courses are available on demand, and include weekly opportunities to engage with the instructor and fellow students.  The online asynchronous format enables busy working professionals from around the world to learn not only from leading experts, but also from one another in a supportive, collegial and clinically relevant manner.

The Advanced Studies Certificate Program will give you a solid foundation in the topic area based on the latest evidence-based knowledge, and build upon that to enhance your skills in delivering best practices in diagnosis and management. Audiologists who may have completed their studies decades ago, as well as current 4th year audiology externs, can benefit from the depth and breadth of study provided by these Programs that is not matched by other existing educational opportunities.
