Rather than offered as a treatment option or ‘after-thought’, post-fitting AR can be seen as desirable and seamlessly integrated into the treatment process. Concepts and tools such as gamification, social media, accessibility, smart phone and tablet applications, and integration will be presented as ways to change the way we think about, deliver, and label ‘aural’ rehabilitation to our patients.
