Learning Outcomes

  • The participants will be able to describe the four categories of considerations given in this course that help to identify issues that affect patient speech mapping measurements.
  • The participants will be able to list the three recommended audibility goals of speech mapping.
  • The participants will be able to explain the steps for the execution of speech mapping measurements using each of the four stimulus types and the two measurement methods provided by the Aurical Visible Speech software.
  • The participants will be able to navigate the Aurical Visible Speech software with hearing instrument fitting software when applying the speech mapping measurements to the fine tuning process of hearing instrument fittings.
