Basic steps such as room and patient preparation, targets and measurements, and the application of data will be discussed with the work flow demonstrated using specific examples.

Learning Outcomes
- The participants will be able to describe the four categories of considerations given in this course that help to identify issues that affect patient speech mapping measurements.
- The participants will be able to list the three recommended audibility goals of speech mapping.
- The participants will be able to explain the steps for the execution of speech mapping measurements using each of the four stimulus types and the two measurement methods provided by the Aurical Visible Speech software.
- The participants will be able to navigate the Aurical Visible Speech software with hearing instrument fitting software when applying the speech mapping measurements to the fine tuning process of hearing instrument fittings.

Professional Trainer
Kyle Kowalewski is currently employed by GN Otometrics in the Audiology/Education department as a Professional Trainer providing training, support, and contributions to new product development and marketing. Kyle holds a Masters of Science in Audiology from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Missouri. In addition to being certified in Audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, she is currently licensed in the state of Illinois to practice audiology and dispense hearing instruments. Her experience spans 25 years in the audiology field with concentration in hearing instruments, small business consulting, and database management. She has held positions with hearing instrument manufacturers, dispensing networks, and clinics in the capacities of Regional Manager, Professional Trainer, Special Projects Manager, and Clinic Director.
