What's in a Fitting? An Examination of Real World Fitting Protocols

242 Reviews

1 Hour

Fitting protocols outline technical steps the can help clinicians establish a baseline quality of care and ensure an organized and homogenized process for fitting hearing instruments, however, there is little guidance as to how counseling and the clinical narrative affect these protocols. This paper serves to evaluate the fitting process in a holistic sense including both the narrative aspects as well as the technical components.
