This class will provide information regarding the five troubleshooting steps that can be employed when working with any Nucleus sound processor. Each one these five steps will be described for the five currently used sound processors.

Course Objectives

The learner will list the five items that should be checked when a cochlear implant recipient reports a problem hearing with his/her sound processor.
The learner will list the five modular components of the Freedom sound processor.
The learner will identify the resources available for further assistance when troubleshooting a sound processor.
