Learning with Literacy (Parents and Professionals)

The significance of the complementary relationship between language and literacy is undisputed. It follows then, that text is the ultimate language development tool for the parent of a child who uses a cochlear implant and for the professionals that guide them. This workshop will review the language/literacy relationship and will provide practical ideas for incorporating books and other literacy artifacts into a family’s daily activities.
