Yet, for many consumers, your education, expertise and abilities remain an unrecognized distinction. An audiologist’s message is often lost in the clutter of retail marketing where hearing aid products and prices are the focus, and qualified audiology care goes generally unrecognized and unheralded.AuDNet is a national network of audiologists just like you. Across the country we are working together to change the focus of consumer thinking from hearing aids to audiology care. We are creating demand for audiology services in mass, one practice at a time, as our members deliver an audiology experience that is both distinctive and desirable.AuDNet believes that the best patient care is provided by audiologists whose focus is always on the patient and providing care and products that are in every patient’s best interest. Even though many dispensing audiologists rely on the income from hearing aids, it should not just be about hearing aids. Audiology care includes a vast scope of practice as defined by our audiology licenses. Consumers must know that audiologists are “THE hearing experts” and the best healthcare professionals to see when hearing or balance problems are suspected.AuDNet recently launched an upgraded membership opportunity, the Preferred Provider Community (PPC). As a PPC member, your clinic or practice will be exposed to thousands of consumers a month searching for local audiologists. Additionally, your membership will enable AuDNet to continue its national consumer education and awareness campaigns, like the Serve and Protect campaign, that drives demand for U.S.-based audiologists. The goal of the PPC is to create new customers for you, a PPC audiologist, while continuing to support AuDNet’s mission of positioning audiologists as “THE Hearing Experts” nationwide.
