Milan, 4th February 2008 - Amplifon, the Italian group leader worldwide in the distribution and fitting of hearing aids and related services, announced today the appointment of Heinz Ruch as new Country Manager of North America.
Following this decision, Christian Rutishauser, is appointed as new Country Manager of Amplifon Switzerland.
Christian Rutishauser previously worked in Siemens Audiologie, as Sales Manager first and later on as Managing Director.
These appointments follow the company's strategic plan that aim to further strengthen Amplifon structure on the North American market, which is the most important worldwide in the hearing aids industry, and capitalize Heinz Ruch's knowledge and experience to take advantage of all the growth opportunities.
Swiss, 44 years old, Heinz Ruch is married and has two sons. He joined Amplifon in 2001 and was responsible for Switzerland, Austria, and Hungary. In 2005, thanks to the experience and the success reached, was given the task to conquer the second biggest market worldwide, Germany. Under his management, in almost 3 years Amplifon became the third player of the market integrating more than 20 companies into one brand.
The Group also informs that shortly a new Country Manager for Germany and Hungary will be announced, while in the meantime they remain under the responsibility of Heinz Ruch.
