This month on AudiologyOnline, we have a great new 20Q and all the scoop on the latest product releases from the leading manufacturers!  Here's an overview.

20Q with Gus Mueller

There are more than 50 supplements that purport to treat or cure tinnitus being marketed to consumers today.  While this is not a new issue, there does seem to be more of these products out there than ever before, leaving audiologists with inevitable questions from our patients.  Fortunately for us, our guest author on 20Q with Gus Mueller this month is Dr. Bob DiSogra, who reviews the research and provides guidance.

Empowering New Products

This year at AudiologyNOW!, I had a chance to sit down with top names in industry to discuss their new product launches and initiatives.  One theme I heard time and again across companies was empowerment.  Today's consumers don't want to be told what to do - they want information and options from their hearing care providers.  To help you get up to speed, we'll be featuring new interviews over the next few months with details on all the new offerings.  For fitting and programming details on the new products, check out each company's course library on AudiologyOnline, and pick up a few CEUs while you're at it (#bingewatching).

New Standard Audiogram

Draft of audiogramIn case you didn't see our news item on April 1st, there's talk of a new standard audiogram that will take effect on January 1, 2016.  Be sure to click the link at the end of the announcement for all of the specifics.

Thank you!

It was great to meet so many AudiologyOnline readers and members in San Antonio.  Thank you for reading, viewing and for your support. You are the reason we do what we do and why we enjoy doing it!

I hope you have a warm and wonderful spring!

Cheers,

Carolyn
