The conference will be led by chairpersons Linda Thibodeau, Ph.D., Professor of Amplification and Speech Perception of the Hearing Impaired at the University of Minnesota, and Michael Dorman, Ph.D., Professor, Barrett Honors Faculty and Director of Cochlear Implant Research Laboratory at Arizona State University.  Under their leadership, invited guest speakers and panel debates along with poster sessions and a technology suite will guarantee a lively exchange among attendees at this hearing healthcare conference.

Prior to the opening of the conference, two hands-on workshops will be offered in parallel by Phonak and Advanced Bionics to increase attendees’ knowledge of specific solutions.

“The population with significant hearing loss probably has the most to gain from our services, and audiologists should be well prepared to provide that assistance directly or be knowledgeable to make referrals to competent professionals who can provide quality services,” added co-chair Linda Thibodeau, Ph.D.  “Don’t miss this conference or you may be missing an opportunity to learn how to make a life-changing impact on someone!"
