This course will review current hearing aid technologies that employ several different forms of binaural processing. The end user benefits provided by binaural processing will be included in this review. Finally, techniques to verify that these technologies are functioning will be demonstrated. These techniques can be used by the clinician to critically evaluate the binaural features offered by different manufacturers, align end user expectations and troubleshoot issues that may arise during use.
