Research has shown that parents of children with special needs learn best when they have abundant opportunities to practice new skills while being coached. This course will provide the rationale for involving parents, discuss the process of planning effective sessions, and describe a format for conducting successful parent participation sessions. Participants will view short video clips to enhance understanding and implementation of key ideas and concepts.
