Learning Outcomes
- Participants of this course will be able to successfully identify all of the Vivatone receiver unit options and fitting configurations that are available.
- Participants of this course will be able to correctly select the Vivatone receiver unit that should be used based on the patient's hearing loss, ear canal size, MCLs and taking previous hearing aid experience into account.
- Participants of this course will be able to correctly identify proper wire bending techniques that are needed to overcome the most common physical fitting issues and fit the Vivatone receiver units properly.

Western Region Audiologist
Sarah Smith, M.A., FAAA is the Senior Field Audiologist for Vivatone Hearing Systems. Prior to joining Vivatone Sarah has worked in a private practice, a Neuro-Otology office and a large medical facility as an Audiologist. She specializes in hearing aid technology and hearing loss diagnostics and has experience working with cochlear implants, implantable hearing aids and vestibular diagnostics. By the end of 2008 Sarah will complete her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.).
