FineTone Hearing is currently seeking an Audiologist and a Hearing Instrument Specialist who are driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. The ideal candidates must be strong clinically and effectively counsel while building patient rapport. The position would be in the Scarborough, ME location. We also, have availability in our Windham, ME location. The hours are 9AM- 4:30PM Monday-Friday (some flexibility). This position is due to growth.
Daily tasks and responsibilities
- Establish effective rapport with patients as well as their family, setting realistic expectations regarding their hearing needs.
- Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.
- Real-Ear Measurement, Tympanometry.
- Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems.
- Maintain patient files accurately.
Qualifications
- Masters’ Degree in Audiology or Au.D.
- ME Audiology/Hearing Aid Dispensing Licensure (eligible to obtain).
The successful Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist will also possess the following:
- Strong interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
- The ability to work in a team environment as well as working independently.
- The ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent patient interaction.
- Self-motivated.
We offer an attractive compensation package and commission, Healthcare (paid in part by the practice), Paid Holidays, PTO time and Licensure/CEU Reimbursement. Salary range is $75-100K (higher range includes commission) based upon experience.
