The Hearing Instrument Specialist/Audiologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing disorders. We are seeking a skilled Hearing Instrument Specialist / Audiologist to join our team. And would like to escape the corporate workforce and join a small private practice.
Duties

- Interact professionally with patients and physicians to ensure optimal care.
- Collaborate with staff to meet or exceed office goals.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' hearing needs using diagnostic testing and consultative skills.
- Educate patients on their hearing issues and provide compassionate support to enhance their quality of life.
- Demonstrate expertise in various hearing aid products and accessories, offering the latest technology.
- Tailor solutions based on patient needs and concerns.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families regarding hearing loss and the use of hearing aids.
- Perform precise examinations using:
- A handheld otoscope for ear anatomy assessment
- A hearing booth with Headphones/bone conduction headsets
- Ear impression taking
- Other necessary tasks for thorough examination
- Measure, fit, dispense, and repair hearing devices and earmolds.
- Evaluate patient progress and provide follow-up care, including cleaning, maintenance, and repair of devices.
- Maintain accurate electronic records of all developments.
- Host outreach events and participate in marketing campaigns.
- Have knowledge of third party insurance.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed to Dispense hearing aids or licensed AUD in the state of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in fitting and dispensing hearing products and providing patient care (open to new graduates).
- Passionate about helping people hear better and improving their quality of life.
- Expertise in guiding patients through the process of selecting amplification devices.
- Compassionate, patient, and skilled in problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Capable of delivering presentations, both individually and in group settings.
- Commitment to staying current with the latest research in Audiology

Requirements:
- Must be licensed in the state of Minnesota.
- Prefer 1 to 2 years of experience (open to new graduates).
