Join our team of 13 audiologists, 2 audiology assistants, and 3 audiology externs within our forty+ member team of the UTMB Health Center for Audiology & Speech Pathology. In our affiliation with the Dept of Otolaryngology we work with a group of 3 otology/neurotology, 4 pedi otolaryngology, 3 general, and 12 other physician specialties and PA's in 5 on and off-island clinics within the greater Houston/Galveston area (Galveston County/South Harris County).
We provide a full range of audiological services to patients of all ages (infants to geriatrics):
- Audiological evaluation for all ages - infants to geriatrics
- Hearing aid evaluation, fitting and maintenance
- Central auditory processing evaluation (behavioral and electrophysiological)
- Electrophysiological testing (ECoG, ABR, MLR, LVR, P300, ENoG, VEMP)
- Cochlear and bone conducted implantables
- Comprehensive vestibular testing
- rotary chair
Additional opportunities include teaching medical students, ENT residents, preceptor opportunities with 4th year audiology externs, and participation in clinical research and program development.
Preferred qualifications are an AuD or PhD and certification.
