    Phonak LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will call on Government-based audiology facilities as well as national commercial hearing care locations.  Through this role you will influence knowledge and expertise in hearing technology calling on both existing and prospective customers. Superior understanding of hearing instrument and audio-diagnostic technology, along with articulate communication skills will enable the candidate to perform the necessary job functions in the field. Weekly travel (approximately 3-4 overnights a week) is required. The main emphasis of this position will be the selling of and training on hearing instrument devices and a wide assortment of related products to hearing professionals in both government and large commercial settings. A strong business sense sets the candidate apart and is critical to fostering strategic planning, organization and astute prioritizing;  all fundamental to building income. The candidate filling this position should have an attitude to go the extra mile in order to increase market share while never settling for status quo as he or she meets and exceeds quota.    

    This position will be based out of your home office located near a major airport in your designated region.  The individual will have to live in one of the following metropolitan areas:  IL, IN, MO, TN, KY, MI

    Responsibilities

     

    • Achieve sales quota as assigned to the territory
    • Calls to clinics, hospitals, military facilities and commercial offices for product and software demonstration and training
    • Participate in regional and national trainings
    • Timely business reporting (weekly expenses, call activity, etc.)

     

     

    Education: 

    • Masters or Au.D. degree in Audiology

     

    General Skills and Attributes:

    • Strong acumen in the field of Audiology
    • Self-motivated and competitive
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Team player
    • Strong PC Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Hearing aid sales experience a plus
    • Public speaking experience a plus
    • Willingness to travel overnight weekly
    • Focus on building strong customer relationships
