This is an introductory level course that is designed to provide a basic overview of the VNG test battery and how to perform the battery using Interacoustics VO425 instrumentation. This course will help clinicians who are new to the VNG concept to get a better understanding of how beneficial VNG recordings can be to their practice.
Learning Outcomes
- After this course, participants will be able to list the VNG subtests that make up the ocular motility test battery.
- After this course, participants will be able to describe three ways in which VNG recordings can provide added benefit to your vestibular evaluation.
- After this course, participants will be able to list two different techniques that can be used to edit raw caloric test data.

Senior Clinical Audiologist
Cammy Bahner is a Senior Clinical Audiologist for Interacoustics in the U.S. and is a licensed audiologist in Minnesota. She received her M.S. from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 1999. She has 10 years of clinical experience and managed an audiology and hearing instrument dispensing department within a multi-specialty care clinic for 4 years. She has also worked in a balance center and has extensive experience in the area of vestibular diagnostics. Her special areas of interest include vestibular assessment (VNG, posturography, and rotational chair testing) and electrophysiological measurements (ABR/VEMP). She has served as a guest speaker at state conventions and is a contributing author on published articles in hearing industry journals. She is involved in clinical support, and provides education and training on VNG, rotary chair and other vestibular topics. Cammy is currently a member of AAA and ASHA.
