23rd Annual Scott Haug Hill Country Audiology Retreat


September breezes will mean that it’s time to set your sails and trail the wind to the 23rd annual Scott Haug Hill Country Audiology Retreat. Mark your calendars for, “Pirate o’the Hill Country”, September 27th to 30th and make your plans to join us at the T Bar M Ranch and Resort in New Braunfels, Texas. Thar be treasure in the Texas Hill Country and it’s yours for the takin’!

Aye, once you’ve arrived, follow the map to your treasure. Several renowned speakers have agreed to offer pearl’s of wisdom. David Fabry, Ph. D. defines the meaning behind the marketing terms the hearing instrument manufacturer’s have been using. Robert Sweetow, Ph.D. uncovers ways to use “Listening and Auditory Communication Enhancement” training to improve the auditory skills of our patients. Drs. Fabry and Sweetow will band together to teach the wonders of Open fitting Technology. Gyl Kasewurm, Au.D exposes “The Secret to thriving in an Audiology practice" while Cheryl DeConde Johnson, CCC-A, Ed.D divulges ways to help our young ones during, "Yo Ho Ho": Developing an Effective Education Audiology Program”.

Follow the treasure map carefully and it will lead to the many other riches of the Scott Haug Audiology Retreat. Join mates in the golf scramble, set out on a tube to conquer the high seas o’ the Comal River, join the annual kickball game, and dance with the wenches and scallywags the evening dance. Eventually you’ll be led to cherished gem, The Casa. Relax there; enjoy time with colleagues, mingle with speakers and corporate sponsors and enjoy the wealth of the land.

If you’ve have never been to the Scott Haug Hill Country Audiology Retreat, this is the year to come and see what in the name o’ Davey Jones all the rattlin’ on is about. If it has been a few years since yer last retreat this is the year to come back and join all the rest of the scallywags.
