The 19th annual Scott Haug Audiology Retreat will be held on October 2-5, 2003, in Kerrville Texas. The educational program will feature lectures from AAA President-elect Richard Gans, Ph.D., Robyn Cox, Ph.D, Paul Pessis, AU.D., George Osborne, Ph.D., D.D.S., and Alan Frient, MD. Topics will include discussions regarding vestibular assessment and diagnosis, current outcome measures, directional hearing aids benefit in noise, update on HIPAA's current implications on our practices and profession, and the impact of non-prescription medications on our patients. Dr. Frient will address the issues and communications between the ENT and the Audiologist.
