Amazing Hearing is a privately owned audiology practice located in Laguna Hills, California, just seven miles from the Pacific Ocean. We are looking to add a full-time dispensing audiologist to join our team. Our owner-audiologist has been helping patients in this area for more than two decades. Our office is open, relaxed, friendly, and dedicated to helping our patients maximize their hearing potential.

The audiologist will be responsible for hearing evaluations for all ages with an emphasis on adult and senior patients, fittings, and follow-up care. Additionally, our audiologist provides counsel, guidance, and education to patients to help them realize the best solution to treat their hearing loss. We believe strongly in aural rehabilitation as a part of our treatment plan. We offer monthly aural rehab classes given by a speech pathologist.

- The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:
- Conduct diagnostic comprehensive hearing evaluations.
- Executes a treatment plan through excellent counseling and education.
- Recommend and fit proper hearing devices based on patient’s needs.
- In depth experience with Widex and Oticon products a bonus
- Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, and reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality of all business and patient information.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
- May also be involved in marketing and public outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, and senior living events.
To ensure success candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Masters or Doctorate in Audiology with dispensing certification
- Active California Dispensing license or eligible for licensure or in process of obtaining license
- Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients.
