Live Better Hearing + Balance is a successful, family owned private practice with many locations throughout Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. We combine an intense passion for helping people with the best diagnostic technology available. Our team is growing! We are building one of the region's most advanced vestibular programs, and we are seeking a full time Audiologist who will focus exclusively on balance. This role is primarily vestibular diagnostics and care, anchored by a rotational chair and a full electrophysiology suite (ABR, vHIT, VEMP, ECochG)..Quite simply, our goal is not just to be pretty good; we want to provide the best experience possible for our patients and employees alike.

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive vestibular evaluations, including videonystagmography (VNG) with oculomotor, positional, and caloric testing
• Perform rotational chair testing and interpret results across test paradigms
• Perform video head impulse testing (vHIT) and cervical and ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (cVEMP and oVEMP)
• Perform advanced electrophysiologic assessment, including electrocochleography (ECochG) and auditory brainstem response (ABR) for site of lesion evaluation
• Diagnose and treat BPPV using canalith repositioning maneuvers
• Interpret findings, write clear diagnostic reports, and communicate results to referring physicians
• Counsel patients on their diagnosis and next steps, and coordinate referrals to vestibular rehabilitation, ENT, or neurology when indicated
• Maintain vestibular and electrophysiology equipment and keep test protocols current with best practice
• Serve as the region's clinical resource for vestibular care: mentor colleagues, refine protocols, and help grow physician referral relationships

What you will need

• AuD or PhD in Audiology
• State audiology licensure or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
• Direct clinical experience with VNG required; experience with rotational chair, vHIT, VEMP, and ECochG strongly preferred 
• Strong diagnostic reasoning, report writing, and patient counseling skills
• Positive, team player attitude; self sufficient, organized, and confident managing complex dizzy patients
• Good problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
