SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Audiologist is the clinical heart of the practice and the trusted expert our patients rely on. You will educate patients and their families on hearing loss, tinnitus, and the associated cognitive and health risks, then guide them into the best treatment for their needs. From the first diagnostic appointment through fitting, verification, and long-term follow-up care, you will own each patient’s outcome — delivering best-practice treatment, documenting thoroughly, and creating the kind of experience that turns patients into lifelong members of the Momentum community.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the empathetic authority — build trust and serve as the clinical expert who educates patients and their loved ones with compassion and confidence.
- Make a strong recommendation — recommend the best treatment for every patient, every time.
- Fit treatment technology — select, fit, and program hearing technology to each patient’s prescriptive needs.
- Verify prescriptive programming — use best-practice verification (such as real-ear measurement) to confirm every fitting is accurate.
- Follow-up care process — guide patients through the full follow-up, adjustment, and recall journey.
- Live event participation — represent Momentum at community and patient education events.
