Live Better Hearing is a successful practice with multiple locations in VA and MD. They are seeking a talented, full-time Patient Care Coordinator to support patients in their Fredericksburg location. The Patient Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients. This position is responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments and completing administrative processing. We are seeking an individual who is personable and naturally friendly with the ability to support patients, answer their questions and help them problem solve their issues is essential. You will:
- Serve as an initial point of contact for individuals seeking hearing care and services
- Gather patient information and coordinate the scheduling of services for patients, including patient appointments and answering phones/patient inquiries all with an emphasis on excellent customer service
- Contact patients to confirm/reschedule appointments
- Track and report daily scheduling metrics
- Handle insurance issues, maintain databases, and other administrative duties as assigned
- Accurately enter data in the system while talking to patients over the phone or in person
- Take on ad hoc projects as needed
You will need:
- Education: Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: 3 + years of administrative experience
- Computer knowledge is required, including Microsoft Office products, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be positive, friendly and a team player
- Ability to manage constantly changing, fast-paced environment
- Must be driven, poised, articulate, and possess strong communication skills (must be comfortable talking over the phone), detailed-oriented, and manage time effectively in a very fast-paced and professional environment.
