Kalisha Russell, MBA

February 2, 2009

Question

Is there a code for changing an 8mm abutment to a 10mm abutment for Baha? Would insurance coverage this change?

Answer

Yes, the code is a msc code that would require documentation: CPT 69399 Unlisted procedure external ear. This procedure should be authorized prior to service.
