Question

I just ordered a SoundGate streamer for a set of Bliss miniBTE hearing aids. Sonic’s Customer Care advised that there’s a new streamer, the SoundGate 2. How is it different than the original SoundGate?

Answer

We’ve taken the original and improved upon it! The new and improved SoundGate 2 has a 200% increase in range, an integrated telecoil, and a 100% increase in battery life, providing up to 10 hours of streaming! In addition it has a sleek, new design with a soft touch coating.

I was very comfortable with the pairing process of the old system. Is the new SoundGate 2 just as simple to pair to the instruments?

Pairing the SoundGate 2 to the hearing instrument is just as easy as ever. By following the on-screen directions in the software – two simple clicks is all it takes to pair the SoundGate 2 to the hearing instrument.

Are there any other accessories that have been updated?

Sonic is proud to introduce the TV Adapter 2 and the Telephone Adapter 2. The TV Adapter 2 has a 200% increase in range, update design and allows for easy switching between multiple TV Adapters. The Phone Adapter 2 also has the 200% increase in range and offers a connection to digital office phones via an optional accessory.
