Question
Is it possible to customize the screening criteria on the GSI Corti?
Answer
The GSI Corti allows for performing DPOAE screenings, TEOAE screenings, or both depending on the configuration of your device. For DPOAE, the screening protocol includes the frequencies of 2, 3, 4, and 5000 Hz and requires a 6 dB signal-to-noise ratio at 3 of the 4 frequencies to pass. To customize the protocol, it is possible to add an additional requirement of a -5 dB minimum DP amplitude to pass. This makes the protocol more stringent. Minimum amplitude requirements may also be enabled for the TEOAE screening protocol. For advanced users with diagnostic devices, it’s possible to customize the L1 and L2 levels, the number of frequencies to pass, averaging time, and signal-to-noise ratio.
