Question

Will Medicaid cover the Baha softband/headband for an older child who is not yet a surgical candidate?

Answer

Medicaid coverage for Baha and softband is determined on a state by state basis. There is a code for the Baha with softband (L8692) but not all states' Medicaid programs fund this. One would need to contact the Medicaid programs in their respective areas to gain more information.
