Dr. Jensen's area of expertise is working with individuals who have significant hearing loss and who are interested in implantable technologies including cochlear implants and bone conduction implants. Dr. Jensen joined the Koss Cochlear Implant Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin after earning her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Vanderbilt University. She completed a year-long internship at Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE before joining MCW. She began her career with the Koss Cochlear Implant Program coordinating the clinical research program and then transitioned to clinical audiology. She currently works primarily with our adult patients but continues to be an active member of the research team. Dr. Jensen strives to maximize each patient's hearing potential through the use of cochlear or bone conduction implants in one or both ears as well as use of a hearing aid in the non-implanted ear. Her clinical interests include aging and patient performance with cochlear implants and the effect aural rehabilitation has on patient outcomes with cochlear implants.

Dawn Marsiglia

Dawn D. Marsiglia, Au.D., CCC-A/SLP is an audiologist at Johns Hopkins Cochlear Implant Center. Dr. Marsiglia works with both pediatric and adult patients, is an ACIA state champion and has a strong interest in the MD EHDI program. She has also has previous experience as a study member on the CDaCI grant, in the educational system, and within the hearing aid industry.

Carrie Spangler

Dr. Carrie Spangler is the lead educational audiologist at the Summit ESC in Ohio and has been providing educational audiology services for 23 years. She has a personal journey growing up deaf/hard of hearing. In 2019, she embarked on the cochlear implant journey and is now a bimodal user. She has presented and published in areas related to school based services both nationally and internationally. Her areas of interest include educational audiology, teens, peer supports, advocacy, and humanitarian audiology. Dr. Spangler has a cochlear implant blog, hearingspanglish.blog and is the host of the empowEAR Audiology Podcast. In 2021 she received the Fred Berg Award from Educational Audiology Association and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) Fellow Award.
