Providing Humanitarian Vestibular Care, presented in partnership with Vanderbilt University
This course discusses how a group of clinicians from Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) embarked on a mission trip to Kraków, Poland, to provide vestibular services to Ukrainian refugees. Vestibular testing out in the community has broad implications on humanitarian efforts in audiology, education, and research within communication sciences and disorders.

This course discusses the construct of listening-related fatigue and its relevance to adults and children with hearing loss. We also describe the Vanderbilt Fatigue Scales, a suite of subjective measures designed to assess listening-related fatigue, and briefly discuss possible mitigation strategies for reducing the impact of listening-related fatigue in those most affected.
