Immediate Opening for a Full-Time or Part-Time Audiologist
We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Audiologist wanting to use their full scope of practice in audiology to test patients with hearing and balance problems in a compassionate setting. If you are not as familiar with some testing protocols, we will train you or send you for training. You will be testing newborns who are referred for further testing after their newborn hearing screening through senior adults. Each of your patients will be scheduled to allow you more than enough time to complete a full range of diagnostic testing including speech in noise, tinnitus matching, and a thorough explanation of your test results. For our hearing aid patients, you will perform verification real-ear measurements (REM) and validation in the test booth. Utilizing both processes together is the gold standard of care. One of our missions is to provide patients of all economic levels with quality hearing aids. We do this by using organizations that assist lower income and working individuals such as charitable care and state agencies. All of this is in a stress-free work setting. The private practice is in a medical setting in Demorest, Georgia.
You will find our Audiologist salaries very competitive. A full-Time Licensed Audiologist will start at $85,000 to $95,000 depending on experience. We will discuss benefits during the interview. You will also find our Part-Time Audiologist payment very competitive and work hours very flexible i.e. 1, 2, 3, days a week, 1, 2, weeks a month. Licensed Part-Time Audiologist will be paid proportionally to a Full-Time Audiologist making $85,000 to $95,000 depending on experience. We will discuss benefits and work schedule you would like during the interview. At present, we are working four 10-hour days Monday through Thursday which means you would have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off each week. We can discuss different work schedules as well at the interview. Presently everyone likes this schedule. Also, for those interested in private practice, the potential for part ownership exists.
Another mission of the practice is in our Training Benefit. Since we are dedicated to staying at the forefront of our field, all training expenses attending in person yearly conferences and specialized training are paid for by the practice. We provide audiologists with continuous training to keep them updated on the most recent evidence-based research so we can ensure that our patients are receiving the best possible care.
Living in the Demorest or Gainesville area has so much to offer to meet everyone’s needs. For those who like the outdoors, Lake Lanier, boasting 692 miles of shoreline is great for boating and fishing as well as many waterfront eateries. This area also has a vibrant downtown scene in Gainesville and easy driving access to Atlanta’s cultural experiences. Additionally, you can travel just a few miles north to visit vineyards, hiking trails and waterfalls.
