As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a compassionate, motivated Audiologist who is passionate about improving patients' quality of life through comprehensive audiology.
Position Summary
The Audiologist will provide diagnostic and rehabilitative audiologic services to pediatric and adult patients while working closely with our ENT physicians and advanced practice providers. This is an excellent opportunity to practice at the top of your license in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations for patients of all ages
- Conduct vestibular and electrophysiologic testing as appropriate
- Perform hearing aid evaluations, fittings, programming, verification, and follow-up care
- Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss and treatment options
- Evaluate cochlear implant and bone conduction device candidates and provide postoperative programming as appropriate
- Assist ENT physicians with medical management and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
Required
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Oregon Audiologist licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred
- Pediatric and adult diagnostic experience
- Experience with hearing aid dispensing and programming
- Cochlear implant experience
- Vestibular testing experience
