The Hearing & Speech Center in Lexington, KY is seeking a Full-Time Family Audiologist to provide compassionate, comprehensive hearing healthcare for children and adults, with a special focus on pediatric patients and adults with complex needs and multiple disabilities.

This is more than a traditional Audiology role. We’re looking for someone who leads with patience, empathy, and creativity — an Audiologist who enjoys building relationships, partnering with families, and helping patients improve communication, connection, and quality of life.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations
• Provide pediatric and adult hearing assessments
• Conduct hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and follow-up care
• Adapt testing and treatment approaches based on each patient’s individual abilities and needs
• Provide counseling, education, and (re)habilitation services
• Partner with families and caregivers to create individualized care plans

 

 

What You Bring

• Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology
• Kentucky Audiology license (or eligibility)
Experience working with children and adults with developmental, cognitive, and/or multiple disabilities — or a genuine passion and desire to serve this population
Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, caregivers, and team members
• Ability to meet each patient where they are
• Desire to make an impact beyond the hearing test

What started as a deaf oral preschool has grown into a statewide nonprofit offering comprehensive hearing care, early childhood education, and pediatric speech-language therapy services.
