Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist (Full or Part Time)

Ocean State Hearing Aid Center is currently seeking a licensed Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team! With 4 locations located throughout Rhode Island, we have been helping the hearing impaired in our community for over 50 years. Our passion is to provide excellent hearing healthcare and superior customer service to our patients.

In this role, candidates will utilize their clinical expertise, working directly with patients to provide hearing evaluations, fit and program hearing aids, and offer follow-up care. Candidates should be highly motivated with strong communication skills, work ethic and the ability to work well and organize themselves independently. Candidates should also have a comprehensive knowledge of the major hearing aid manufacturers and models. Offices are located in Greenville, Providence, Middletown and Narragansett, RI. The candidate can work at any location but should be willing to cover at other locations if needed. We are open to the candidate working either full or part-time. Full time salary 85k-125k plus commission depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations.
• Advise and assist patients with hearing aid selection.
• Take ear mold impressions when applicable.
• Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids. Pair hearing devices to patient’s cellular devices.
• Educate patients and their families on device maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete routine maintenance and in office repairs.
• Complete charting, order forms, and other necessary paperwork in timely fashion
• Meet reasonable sales and performance goals.

Qualifications

• RI AuD or HAD license
• 2+ years of experience operating audiometer and dispensing hearing aids.
