Requirements and Education:

  • Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree; or master’s degree in Audiology required
  • Current state licensure in Audiology and hearing aid dispensing required
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, with strong ability to prioritize
  • Proficiency with computers, audiologic diagnostic equipment, and hearing aid software systems
  • A passion for learning, with a compassionate, caring, and respectful approach to patient care
  • Ability to travel out of state for professional development or training opportunities, as required by the practice

Day to Day:

  • Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments using the latest audiology equipment
  • Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids to ensure optimal performance and comfort
  • Providing counseling and support for patients and their families on hearing health, hearing aid care, and communication strategies
  • Staying ahead of latest research and advancement in audiology through continuing education to enhance patient care
  • Collaborating in a team environment that values professional development and a “Patient First” motto
