Dr Oexmann Answer: This app delivers fast, reliable device checks in seconds. The app will display key device details—including serial number, firmware version, warranty status, battery level, and Roger receiver information. An acoustic test uses a brief sound burst to measure receiver and microphone performance, while a battery health check reports cell status as a clear percentage. A circuit check confirms proper pairing and diagnostic performance. If there is an issue found that cannot be remedied within the appointment, the provider can also use the app to start a Service Repair and auto-populate information registered in the app.

Dr. Alyssa Ricevuto is currently the Program Marketing Manager and a major contributor to the Technology Specialist Training Program. Alyssa has been with Phonak since 2017, serving in various training roles as Clinical Trainer, Key Account Clinical Trainer, and Senior Clinical Trainer. Prior to joining Phonak, Alyssa spent ten years working as a clinician in both private practice and ENT settings. Alyssa received her BA from the University of Connecticut, Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.

Senior Phonak Digital Solutions Marketing Manager
Dr. Joan Oexmann has been with Sonova since 2016, serving in various roles. She is currently in the role of Senior Phonak Digital Solutions Marketing Manager, responsible for products like Apps and fitting software. Prior to joining Phonak, Joan worked at Advanced Bionics as a Senior Global Product Manager for Diagnostic and Fitting Software. Joan received her BA from the University of Colorado and a Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas.
