Abstract Submissions Open for CI2027 San Diego: Conference on Cochlear Implants

 

Washington, D.C.: American Cochlear Implant Alliance (ACI Alliance) is accepting abstract submissions for its upcoming clinical research conference. CI2027 San Diego: Conference on Cochlear Implants in Children and Adults. CI2027 San Diego will be held May 12-15, 2027, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, California.

 

The themes of CI2027 San Diego include:

  • Optimizing clinic efficiency and program growth (telemedicine, patient navigators, others)
  • Emerging technologies in cochlear implantation
  • Unique challenges in SSD/AHL patients (pediatrics, tinnitus, Medicare)
  • Management and rehabilitation of challenging hearing loss etiologies (ANSD, CN hypoplasia/aplasia, others)
  • Mental health comorbidities in CI care
  • Speech perception testing for non-English speakers
  • Cognition and CI in aging patients
  • Socioeconomic factors and health disparities in CI care


Abstract submissions are encouraged on these themes and other cochlear implant clinical research topics and will be accepted through August 26, 2026. CI2027 is an in-person conference, and all presenters must register and present on site in San Diego. CME and CEU credits will be available.

 

Registration for CI2027 San Diego opens in December with early bird and membership discounts available. Conference attendees can also expect a diverse exhibit hall with opportunities to interact with a variety of industry, government, and non-profit institutions.

 

CI Alliance is a not-for-profit membership organization created with the purpose of eliminating barriers to cochlear implantation by sponsoring research, driving heightened awareness, and advocating for improved access to cochlear implants for patients of all ages across the US.
