National Network of Hearing Healthcare Professionals Looks Ahead to Transformative Future
Eden Prairie, Minnesota (October 22, 2020) – This week, Audibel celebrates 20 years of helping people live better lives through better hearing. The milestone was observed yesterday during a virtual event, during which network members shared stories of success, challenges they’ve overcome and visions for the future. Keynote speakers included Starkey Owner and Chairman Bill Austin, President and CEO Brandon Sawalich, Chief Retail Officer Jeff Geigel, Chief Technology Officer Achin Bhowmik, Ph.D., Chief Innovation Officer Dave Fabry, Ph.D., Chief Marketing Officer Chris McCormick and Audibel Managing Director Michael Tease.
“Audibel is a success story founded on a promise and strengthened over time by mutual trust, partnership and the shared pursuit of excellence,” said Sawalich. “With unrivaled care and passion, we have proven, over the past 20 years, that anything is possible. We are now embarking on what I am confident will be our industry’s greatest decade yet. To grow Audibel and serve more patients, we are committed to bold action for the entire network.”
On October 19, 2000, the first unofficial meeting was held, establishing the Audibel brand in the pursuit of hearing excellence. Over the next 20 years, it grew from a fledgling organization to a national network committed to providing the very best in better hearing. Now, this group of dedicated professionals is preparing to revolutionize the next generation of hearing health care through focused practice development tools and programs for an unparalleled experience in the age of AI and the digital patient.
“The best is yet to come, because the science has never been this good,” said Austin. “Over the next 20 years, more people than ever will need our help overcoming their hearing loss. Combined with the technological breakthroughs that are on the horizon, we will do better than we’ve ever done before.”
“Audibel’s greatest strength is the spirit of its people,” said Geigel. “In recent months, I’ve had the honor of being introduced to this extraordinary group of hearing healthcare professionals. I look forward to growing these relationships in the years to come, as we work aggressively to strengthen our mutual success and prosperity.”
