Audiology Systems and Otometrics Announce May Dates for Balance-Focused Hands-On Training Series

Three balance testing courses available at 0.7 CEUs, earn up to 2.1 CEUs.

Schaumburg, IL | February 2016 – Audiology Systems, a full-service, U.S. distributor of GN Otometrics products; and other leading audiology and vestibular equipment, recently announced May 2016 dates for three Hands-on Training Series courses focused on evoked potential (EP) and videonystagmography (VNG), and head impulse testing. These courses are offered at 0.7 continuing education units (CEUs). Attendees can earn up to 2.1 CEUs by joining all three courses. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

May 11, 2016: The 7-hour Hands-on EP Training course now includes VEMP training. This course was designed to address the training needs that will allow you to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in EP testing. Key training areas include frequency-specific threshold assessment techniques, troubleshooting practicum, and using EP to assess the dizzy patient, including ECOG and VEMP testing. May 12, 2016: The 7-hour Hands-on VNG Training course is designed for audiologists, ENTs and healthcare professionals who would like to stay current with the advances in VNG/ENG. As new technology and software are introduced, clinicians who perform VNG/ENG testing benefit from ongoing training that will enable them to apply the new technology to existing procedures. May 13, 2016: The 7-hour Hands-on Impulse Training will be available for audiologists, ENTs and healthcare professionals who perform head impulse testing to assess the dizzy patient. With the release of the latest version of ICS Impulse – the scalable solution now including all test modules.
