Audioscan is excited to announce the release of new software updates for its industry-leading Verifit2 and Axiom real-ear measurement systems. The 2025.1 update introduces several enhancements designed to improve clinical efficiency and patient engagement, including an upgraded probe tube placement tool, new speech stimuli, and expanded User Guide content.

Key Highlights of the 2025.1 Software Update
ProbeGUIDE+
The updated ProbeGUIDE+ tool now features a novel algorithm that builds on the success of the original ProbeGUIDE for adults and now supports accurate and efficient probe tube placement with pediatric patients. To help keep young patients engaged and still during the procedure, ProbeGUIDE+ also introduces a fun, interactive dinosaur-themed visual distractor. (Available on Verifit2 and Axiom)
New Speech Stimuli
Clinicians now have access to a broader selection of calibrated speech passages in both the Sensory-Loss Simulator and Speechmap®, including a new pediatric-friendly story featuring dinosaurs. The English Male passage has been refreshed with the well-known “carrots” story, and updated passages are now available in French Canadian, French, and Arabic. (Available on Verifit2 and Axiom)
User Guide Enhancements
The updated User Guide provides clearer, step-by-step instructions for performing Hearing Protection Verification (Verifit2 only), Tinnitus Masking Verification (Verifit2 only), and interpreting ANSI test results (Available on Verifit2 and Axiom).
