AuDNet, Inc. Signs Ten Manufacturer Support Contracts and Begins Operations

Burnsville, MN - December 6, 2002 - David J. Smriga, President of AuDNet, Inc., an independent buying and support services network for dispensing audiologists who are members of the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists™ (ADA), announced today that the company has concluded negotiations and has signed supplier-partner agreements with ten U.S. based hearing aid manufacturers. Through these supplier agreements, AuDNet will provide participating members of ADA with discount access to over 450 digital, programmable and conventional hearing instrument products, while generating substantial revenue to fund ADA's efforts to promote clinical audiology and the doctoring care represented by the Au.D. degree to hearing impaired consumers and physicians nationwide.

    AuDNet's buying network operations began December 2, 2002 with select members of ADA purchasing products through AuDNet and providing AuDNet with commentary and advice regarding its procedures and infra-structure. It is expected that AuDNet will be fully operational by the beginning of February, 2003.
