Reston, VA – The AAA 2027 Program Committee is proud to invite clinicians, researchers, and academic professionals from around the world to submit an abstract for presentation in St. Louis, Missouri this April.
The AAA Convention allows attendees to share insights, advance education, and drive the field of audiology forward. Whether attendees are discussing challenges and changes within the profession or best practices in their specialty, AAA 2027 provides a space to share the latest research, clinical practices, and network among peers with a variety of experience.
The Academy is looking for submissions that:
- Interest professionals and students in a variety of practice and work settings
- Offer new, ground-breaking, and innovative research relating to audiology (prevention, assessment, pathophysiology, and treatment)
- Share best practices, knowledge, and research to elevate patient care
- Help shape the future profession of audiology through emerging and creative topics that challenge conventional thinking and introduce new ideas, technologies and solutions
- Inspire and impact clinical practice in audiology
- Include interactive presentation techniques designed to engage the adult learner
- Cover all instructional levels with an emphasis on advanced, forward-thinking content
The deadline to submit abstracts for learning modules (60 minutes), spotlight sessions (30 minutes), research podiums (30 minutes), and the Student Research Forum is October 2, 2026. The deadline to submit an abstract for a poster is November 5, 2026. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed in a blind review process. Acceptance of abstracts will be based on the content of the submission, available space, and overall program
balance.
AAA 2027 will take place at the America’s Center Convention Complex in St Louis from April 7-10, 2027. Registration and housing will open for Academy Members on November 4, 2026. Nonmember and Exhibitor registration and housing will open on December 2, 2026.
