SOMERSET, NJ June 29 – Oticon, Inc. is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Oticon Focus on People Awards. The national awards program celebrates the extraordinary individuals with hearing loss and the caregivers, educators, and professionals who are helping to break barriers, reshape perceptions and create opportunities for all people with hearing loss.
For more than 26 years, the Oticon Focus on People Awards has honored hundreds of people who prove that hearing loss is not a limitation and who inspire others to reconsider how they think about and approach hearing loss within their communities. This year, a distinguished panel of hearing care professionals will select three remarkable individuals as the 2026 Focus on People Award winners. Each will receive a $2,500 prize, a $1,000 donation from Oticon to the not-for-profit organization of their choice, and a set of Oticon hearing aids with BrainHearing™ technology, if applicable.
“Through the Oticon Focus on People Awards, Oticon shines a spotlight on hearing loss— celebrating stories that inspire change, foster inclusion, and redefine common misconceptions,” said Lisbeth Meng Collignon, Vice President of Marketing for Oticon, Inc. “Our Focus on People Award winners come from diverse backgrounds with different talents, passions, and challenges. Their unique stories provide a powerful platform to remind everyone of the importance of hearing health and the world of possibilities open to those who seek the support of dedicated hearing care professionals and the benefits of life-changing technology.”
