The American Academy of Audiology is reporting that Rep. Lois Capps (D-CA) and Rep. Jim Walsh (R-NY) have introduced the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Reauthorization (EHDI) legislation in the House of Representatives. Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME) and Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) are likely to be the lead cosponsors in the Senate.
