HIA Sponsors Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation Shoot-Out
Washington, DC, May 24, 2012 - HIA sponsored the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation Shoot-out on May 15 and loaned hearing protection devices to more than 50 shooters in the competition which included 30 Representatives and Senators. The annual event features top shooters from around the country along with teams of Republican and Democratic Members of Congress. Janice Trent, AuD, Hearing Healthcare Services, and Cortney Butler and Beth Daniel, audiology students at Towson State University in Maryland, assisted HIA staff at the event. The hearing team was well represented in the Beginner's Shooting competition where Andy Bopp with HIA won "Best Shooter, Male" and Beth Daniel won "Best Shooter, Female." HIA will also sponsor the Sportsmen's Foundation Congressional Staff shoot on Aug 7 in Maryland. Contact [email protected] for more information.
