The Illinois Academy of Audiology (ILAA) has opened the submission process for instructional courses at the 16th Annual ILAA Winter Conference, which will be held January 28-30, 2009 at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. Presenters at the convention will have the opportunity to contribute to peers' learning and development of audiology and its practice. The ILAA conference is a leading regional forum for audiologists and allied fields to explore cutting edge ideas and results and to exchange techniques, tools, and experiences.
ILAA seeks to provide attendees with in-depth, well-balanced blocks of educational programming featuring primarily 90 minute sessions to allow for greater depth of content. Our convention is historically known for providing information that will positively impact members' practices upon returning to the clinic.
The deadline to submit a proposal is June 23, 2008. Your proposal should include speaker/s biography, presentation title, abstract (100 words), prerequisite background, learning outcomes and any audiovisual needs.
