InSight Cinema partners with Harkins Theatres to add two dedicated screens in the Phoenix AZ area to bring the magic of movies to deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences.
Open Captioned film program coming to 2 Harkins locations.
Scottsdale, Arizona - Harkins Theatres in association with InSight Cinema and New Line Cinema will begin its dedicated screen programs by presenting the open-captioned version of "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" to deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences to two Phoenix, AZ locations.
The open captioned film engagements will begin first at Harkins Superstition Springs 25 in Mesa on Friday, January 24th through Thursday, January 30th. The Harkins Arrowhead Fountains 18 in Peoria will start on Friday, January 31st through February 6th. Other films will follow in this important open captioned series. Not only for the deaf, open captioned films also benefit the hard of hearing, the seniors, English as a Second Language students and Adult Literacy groups. The Harkins Superstition Springs 25 Theatres is located at the Superstition Springs freeway just East of Power Road in Mesa. Harkins Arrowhead Fountains 18 is located at 83rd Avenue south of Bell in Peoria.
