TAMPA, FL --- The National Association of Future Doctors of Audiology held its annual Winter National Board Representative Meeting January 17-18, 2004 in Tampa, Florida. Attendees included the current National Board and Executive Board, the newly-elected Executive Board for 2004-2005 and Executive Advisory Board Members Dr. David Fabry and Barb Vansomeren.
This year's agenda focused on fiscal responsibility and organizational growth. As the Doctor of Audiology degree continues to flourish and NAFDA's membership increases, we recognize that the organization must move in a direction of financial security. As a result, NAFDA is adopting the "Investing in Excellence" Campaign, detailing a 3-year plan to raise and save $100,000. By increasing member professional benefits and decreasing operational costs, NAFDA has outlined a plan to make this possible.
