June 30, 2005-- Governor Bob Taft signed into law an amendment requiring the Au.D. or equivalent as the academic requirement for licensure in Ohio beginning January 1, 2006.
The amendment allows for an indefinite grandparenting period for audiologists with master's degrees who meet the present requirements prior to January 1, 2006.
